Knight-Thon“On February 23-24, 2008 all of the Knight-Thon participants will come together to celebrate the effort they have put out for this great cause. This year we hope to reveal a grand total of over $50,000 raised for Children’s Miracle Network. Please take this opportunity to help these local children’s hospitals and to support the students at UCF.”
Monday: 4:30-7:30 PM - VUCF presents Thinking Caps after school tutoring program. Make the most out of learning by tutoring others. Volunteers needed for a variety of school subjects. Meet/Carpool at the VAB at 3:30 PM.
Wednesday: 4:00-9:00 PM - VUCF presents Give Kids the World "Parents Night
Out." Give the parents of chronically ill children a chance to have a night off and
partner up with a kid for the night. Meet/Carpool meets at VAB at 2:45 PM.
Thursday: 2:45-10:00 PM - VUCF presents Give Kids the World-Winter
Wonderland Party. Volunteers needed to help with games, rides, decorations, and
food. We even get to be in a holiday parade! Free dinner provided. Meet/Carpool at
VAB at 2:45 PM and will return by 10:00 PM.
Friday: 2:45-5:00 PM - VUCF presents Tutoring with Meals! Help combat the cycle
of poverty by tutoring and providing peanut butter and jelly sandwiches to children
living in poverty. Carpool / Meet at VAB at 2:45 PM.
